this is what I made today..I inteded to make a coat pattern but this fabric and pattern called to me.it is a sandra betzina pattern
I made it straight from the pattern
she suggests to make it close fitting ,and yes it does look nice,but I like slightly baggier stuff,the shoulders are a little long but I find when I make a knit garment if I fit the shoulders they look pinched as my shoulders are narrow and sloping,its as if I have over fittied,so I leave them a litttle long
I will wear this with the sleeves pushed up,and have more fabirc to make a skirt and perhaps a wrap...

look what you get when you change the yarn ,needle size and just play.the photo does not do this gorgeous creating justice,I get stopped all the time while people admire it
I have over a dozen and they sort of envelope your shoulders
luckily I come from a family that positively encourages play and experimentation
