hand aid gloves

I have very sore hands and my thumbs dont work particularly well at the moment
I have a pair of hand eze gloves but they cost £18.50 so want to keep them for best sewing not for around the house and such,also they do not support my thumbs.I wanted a pair to keep my hands warm whilst I was knitting and doing general work so I drew around my hand and thumb and used the idea of the handeze gloves and this is what I came up with.I used leotard lycra the stuff that is not so find you can see through it but quite firm.it stretches accross and up and down.I thought if I had to wear gloves why not make them pretty.I intend to put some crystals on them when I get a hot fix wand-hoping for a birthday pressie here.the stitching is not great ,I am trying to manipulate the needle whilst playing with my kittien twinkle.I used a back stitch,dont make the stitches too small as this will cause the fabric to bunch up,if you want to use a sewing machine /serger then you will need wider seam allowences to allow for feed dogs,pattern to follow

bundle does not seem too bothered with the arrival of twinkle,after thimble died she would not eat but now she eats supper and this morning she asked for breakfast,she did not eat much but she asked

twinkle is sweet when she is asleep.she has been sleeping in a dog pen until last night,she was very small and this way she has her food and milk ,her litter tray and a quilt with a hot pad all cose by her,snd bundle can go and visit without getting scared of her.
last night twinkle was loose in her bedroom,I put clean covers on the quilts on the bed and placed three cat beds around the room,plus a quilt on the windowsill so she can be comfy when she looks out of the window.had to wake her up this morning,she seems very settled

twinkle has grown so much,think she should have had here injections last week but I mis-counted
