Cocoon scribbles

 Just tried to write how I do the black cocoon ,the one over the black dress,tons of better instructions around x

Now lost my notes ,will try tomorrow x

Messed up ,am trying to multitask and failing ,the black cocoon lined in cerise and the brown sparkly one are from the red book,well sort of there are lots of tutorials around and I copied a ready to wear garment I bought before the internet ,and the black velvet over the back frock is the one I am writing the diagrams for later,sorry ,still dont know how to edit my blatherings x

Thought I had posted these on the snail/swirl skirt but they seem to have disappeared x

lutterloh or the golden rule please read carefully

many dressmakers have asked me about the tape that comes with the books,yes the same tape will work with the old patterns and the new ones
before I had internet a kind gentleman who sold lutterloh used to go to church halls and small venues to show the system
he gave out free leaflets with the tape measure on paper and a pattern for a waistcoat ,so you could try for yourself,he gave them out to passers -by by the handful,free and to give to friends,I do have a few lying around still.This was in the 1980,s and early 1990,s
this gentleman even came to my home to see my old copies with yet more leaflets for me to give to anyone free
it took me less than ten minutes on the internet to find lutterloh-the gentleman I knew I think is retired now-anyway you can join the email list and download this free pattern and the free paper tape
so please do not email me about ethics of the paper tape,since the eighties and I do believe earlier than that ,it has been free
